Q Chapters 12 & 13 (Last Discussion Prompt) As we come to the end of our textbook, the author explores some of the other variables that impeded access to health care--some that many of you have mentioned in your weekly posts. These variables are cultural and speak to the nature of human behavior. Finally, the author ends the book with one final glance at the key policy issues that affect the future of health care reform and the conundrum of trying to solve the issues that prevent us from implementing good policies. 1) In a well-developed answer provide us with one fact, idea, situation, concept, or theory from the chapters that you were surprised to learn. As usual, draw from the actual reading for examples (not a web source), cite when appropriate, and paraphrase the language. Tell us why and how it may affect your future in the health industry. FYI, do not choose a topic that would apply to question 2. Both answers need to be original and free of repetition. 2) In a well-developed answer what is the health conundrum and how might we balance the issues to create better health outcomes for Americans. Draw from the actual reading for examples (not a web source), cite when appropriate, and paraphrase the language. Due by Friday. 2 long or 5 short response posts by Saturday.
